Chris’ bio

My mom says I have always been an entertainer. I would put on little “shows” and make my sister play the pots and pans while I sang my heart out into a wooden spoon. My dad is a music lover and raised me on The Beatles, Queen, etc.

He was a member of a music club for about 30 years and had quite an album collection. I guess that’s where my eclectic tastes come from.

I like everything from Beethoven to Prince. Being a teenager in the 80’s meant long hair, ripped up jeans and rock bands for me.

But living in the U.P. of Michigan in Escanaba (a town of 11,000) was not the best place to be for music. So I went from that to working as a “lounge lizard” on cruise ships.

Traveling the world and getting paid to sing was an adventure and taught me the art of singing lots of different genres of music. But I vow NEVER to sing, Feeling Hot Hot Hot again!

Everything I’ve done in my life has involved music in one way or the other from working in recording studios to radio stations. This band is a great situation. I get to play with one of my best friends (Pat) and get to play the good stuff. Plus my mom actually likes the music I sing -finally!
