The 96.5 House Band has been entertaining
audiences around Western North
Carolina since November 2002. A live representation
of popular Asheville radio station Classic Hits 96.5 WOXL (who employ one of
the band’s five members), the band has earned a reputation for its upbeat
live shows and being a great bang for the client’s buck.
The 96.5 House Band has performed multiple
times at the Asheville Civic Center,
Thomas Wolfe Auditorium and The Orange Peel.
Legendary bands such as The Beach Boys and The Temptations have praised the
band’s performance and ability to work the crowd when it opened for both
acts.
While The 96.5 House Band has enjoyed the
honor of playing some of Asheville’s best
music halls, the band’s bread and butter are special events and private
functions around Western North Carolina.
With a song list mirroring WOXL’s playlist, every song is a “classic” and if
your guests aren’t dancing to them they’re singing to them!
