Phil joined the 96.5 House Band in 2004 and added sax/vocals along with acoustic guitar.  He's sorta the "secret weapon" that sets them apart from everyone else. When asked.. he says that the solid sound of The 96.5 Band is "the cake" and he's just "the icing."

Being a multi-instrumentalist Phil's influences range from Jr. Walker and The All Stars to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. With the 96.5 Band he's had the opportunity to open up for many of the groups he grew up listening to, as his very first gig was opening up for the Temptations.  

In real life Phil has been in sales and has worked with autistic children for 15 years.  His wish is "to be thankful for your healthy kids, and to give to those who aren't."
